Dear Community Member,

Thank you for seeking information regarding Iola Living Assistance.  The need for long-term care is something few of us plan.  The reality of needing it usually takes us by surprise, triggered by some medical event; such as an illness or injury.  The decisions you are facing are made easier if you are well informed.  The information contained in this folder should help you.

Iola Living Assistance, Inc. offers a variety of services. Butternut Ridge which is attached to the skilled care facility offers independent living in a safe secure setting. Our new Living Oaks residential care apartment complex offers “assisted living” in a beautiful setting. The skilled nursing facility offers rehabilitation, medical services skilled nursing care and community outreach services.  For many people the need for skilled services is temporary.

Iola Living Assistance prides itself in the care and service we provide.  The key lies in our staff.  The staff strives to create a home like environment with a focus on individual needs. We are friends, family and neighbors taking care of friends, family and neighbors. Our technical skills are based on the most current best practice available.  Education of the staff is first and foremost.

The State of Wisconsin Bureau of Quality Assurance inspects us annually but can come unexpectedly at any time. The Home has an excellent survey history including a six year deficiency free record. The Home’s Staff take pride in the exemplary survey performance.  This means that the quality of the care our residents receive meets or exceeds their standards and that of the state.  In addition we continually set goals of improvement for all services provided.

Our staff is skillfully trained to assist the family and resident in all aspects of their care.  We encourage questions, offer education and support residents in their decisions, paying special attention to the individual, their social, psychological and emotional needs.  We understand the difficult transitions all people must make.  Our mission is to provide quality care in a safe, dignified environment.
